Roots to Rise: Promoting Anti-Racism & Equity Through Collective Healing
April 13 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

PASS (Prairie Alliance for Settlement & Support), in collaboration with the City of Edmonton, is hosting a Healing Circle focused on addressing systemic challenges and strengthening our community through collective dialogue and support.
This initiative creates a safe and welcoming space for community members to come together, share experiences, and reflect on the impact of racism, inequity, and social barriers while working toward healing and resilience.
What is the Healing Circle?
The Healing Circle is a guided community gathering designed to:
- Foster open and respectful dialogue
- Promote anti-racism and equity
- Encourage understanding across diverse backgrounds
- Provide emotional and social support
- Strengthen community connections
Through facilitated discussions, participants are invited to reflect on personal and collective experiences in a supportive environment rooted in respect and confidentiality.
Why This Matters
Systemic challenges affect individuals and families in different ways especially newcomers and racialized communities. Creating intentional spaces for conversation helps build trust, understanding, and solidarity.
The Healing Circle is not just about discussion; it is about collective growth, empowerment, and building a more inclusive Edmonton.
