DESCRIPTION:PASS (Prairie Alliance for Settlement & Support)\, in collaboration with the City of Edmonton\, is hosting a Healing Circle focused on addressing systemic challenges and strengthening our community through collective dialogue and support. \nThis initiative creates a safe and welcoming space for community members to come together\, share experiences\, and reflect on the impact of racism\, inequity\, and social barriers while working toward healing and resilience. \n\nWhat is the Healing Circle?\nThe Healing Circle is a guided community gathering designed to: \n\nFoster open and respectful dialogue\nPromote anti-racism and equity\nEncourage understanding across diverse backgrounds\nProvide emotional and social support\nStrengthen community connections\n\nThrough facilitated discussions\, participants are invited to reflect on personal and collective experiences in a supportive environment rooted in respect and confidentiality. \nWhy This Matters\nSystemic challenges affect individuals and families in different ways especially newcomers and racialized communities. Creating intentional spaces for conversation helps build trust\, understanding\, and solidarity. \nThe Healing Circle is not just about discussion; it is about collective growth\, empowerment\, and building a more inclusive Edmonton.
